"...from the start, which is best made on the ground floor, the hang is subtle, engaging and ingenious, easing us into the show with hints of what we might learn from it. One of the earliest images is Jonathan Yeo's double photographic portrait of Ivan Massow, taken before and after he lost three stone and grew a beard. We see the body changing shape and find our own attitudes to the sitter transformed as it does so, revealing embarrassing prejudices..."
