SUMMER IN THE CITY

Martin Asbæk Gallery presented their annual group exhibition Summer in the City in August 2016. For the first time the gallery were showcasing a selection of Jonathan Yeo artworks including a painted profile of the model and actor, Cara Delevingne and multiple examples of his collage work. The exhibition offered a selection of new works by the artists represented by the gallery alongside new collaborations, giving the public insight into the work and profile of the gallery. Summer in the City 2016 took the viewer into a “sphere of new and astounding expressions” created by modern Scandinavian and international up-and-coming as well as established artists. 27 artists participated in the exhibition which covered a wide range of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video and embroidery.
